E-Learning Services (MOODLE) Overview
A: MOODLE is an E-Learning Platform or course management system (CMS). Moodle provides a place where you can easily create web pages with information about courses and provide links to word documents, slides, and other resources that your students will want to access.
A: A learning management shouldn’t simply be a way for teachers to deliver material to students. It should be a space where students can construct their own artefacts and expressions of understanding.
Live courses require that those who participate align their schedules to the training schedule. While E-Learning eliminates this because the course can be accessed anytime, anywhere.
A: The E-Learning Services is designed for public users, no specific criteria. Courses in the E-Learning Services are mainly equal the courses provided inBibliotheca Alexandrina.
A: Yes, there are some requirements to have a full benefit from E-Learning Services. Users can visit the page for more information about the Terms and Conditions, and to know more about the system requirements for PCs, Mobiles or any other device.
A: E-Learning Services is available in three languages; Arabic, English, and French.
A: Blocks are items which may be added to the left or right or center column of any page in Moodle. They may also be added to the center of the My Home page.
As long as you are a subscribed user, you will notice a navigation block, and a Calendar block in the left side of the page; as default.
